Steven Peros is the owner and president, overseeing the assets of more than 3,000 residential units, encompassing the rental and condominium marketplace. His firm also manages in excess of 1,000,000 sq. ft. of commercial, industrial and office real estate throughout Southern Ontario. Steven has spent the past twenty five years building a successful practice that now manages in excess of $900,000,000 of assets from Hamilton to the west through to Scarborough to the east, and Vaughan to the North.

Steven has also been involved in the development and conversion of condominiums, as well as overseeing extensive restoration projects throughout their portfolio.

Tony Peros, Hon.B.D., 

Tony is the Vice President of Central Erin Property Management with over 20 years of Commercial, Industrial, Multi-residential and Condominium Management experience.  Overseeing the Accounting and Human Resource functions of the company, Tony prides himself in ensuring every penny is accounted for, and all staff efforts are streamlined in the pursuit of the investment goals for each client.  

Paul Basil

Paul Basil is our VP Finance/Controller.

Paul has extensive experience in property management and has worked for companies such as Cap Reit, Terracap, and most recently Vertica Resident Services. He has a solid track record in engaging employees to excel and has been very instrumental in driving process improvement initiatives to improve efficiencies and financial reporting.  

Paul supports our objective to ensure we not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients by managing their properties efficiently and delivering an exceptionally high level of service to all owners, residents and guests.

Paul is a CPA-CGA and has recently completed the Mini MBA and a Certificate in Leadership through Team Building at Schulich Executive Education Centre.

Melissa Canatelli has been in the property management business for 19 years and has worked here at CEPM for the past 12 of those years.  She started as the Office Administrator, showing a great passion for growth, aspired to join the Accounting Department.

During this time, she has continued to grow her knowledge and training, to her current position as the Accounting Supervisor. Her responsibilities continue to expand, recently joining the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

Amy Weaver is an invaluable member of the Central Erin team. She officially joined the firm in 2013 as an Office Administrator, but has shown a desire and a passion to expand her role.

Amy is well versed in all aspects of property management, enjoying the diversity in dealing with commercial, industrial, condominium and rental markets.

Malou Herbuela brings with her an extensive background in customer service, and has been a strong asset on the front line and in keeping things flowing smoothly at head office.

Prior to joining Central Erin, Malou worked as a Customer Service Manager at private label manufacturer, where she was charged with developing and managing client relationship of many of their larger clients, such as Loblaw, Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Canadian Tire, Safeway Sobeys and Metro. She possess a solid track record for maintaining customer service excellence.

Malou was promoted to the Condominium division in 2016, and is working towards her certification as an RCM.

Gabriela Schryver joined Central Erin in the summer of 2014 as the newest member of its management team.  As a seasoned property manager in all aspects of the industry, Gabriela brings to us over 10 years of Property Management experience, along with her Condominium Management & Administration certification (2006) and her Registered Condominium Manager designation (2007).

She specializes in Condominium start-ups, as well as established condominiums. Her professional designation as a Licensed Paralegal comes after graduating with honours in 2010. She is highly competent in negotiation, mediation, legal research and legal writing.

Legal Department

Grainne McCurry has been in-house legal counsel since 2000. Prior to joining Central Erin, Grainne spent her first years as a lawyer working specializing in Insurance Litigation, at a boutique firm in downtown Toronto. 

After graduating from Western Ontario with an Honours Degree in History, Grainne was accepted to the University of Toronto Law Program, after achieving a 98% score on her LSAT entrance exam.  Her passion for the law and for learning continue to inspire her in all that she tackles.

Louise Lewis is the Legal Administrator at Central Erin Property Management.  Her role is to identify and assist in resolving any legal issues that arise as a result of Landlord and Tenant matters.  Louise is responsible for initiating legal action and closely monitoring all legal files to their completion, in order to represent our client’s best interests. 

This includes accurately preparing the legal documentation required, and ensuring that all legal processes are strictly followed and monitored to ensure the best possible outcome.  Louise is also the initial contact at Central Erin Property Management for dealing with, and working toward resolving any tenant issues before they result in legal action.
